Reuse and Upcycling

Describe your idea! How does it work to reduce / replace plastic? How will you involve others?

We collect, clean and upcycle plastic waste making new accessories for our daily life.
How? We create a strong, flexible and waterproof fabric that we use later for fashion products adopting the same properties than plastic.
Plastic waste LDPE4 is our raw material.

Think bigger - What can you add to your idea to make it 1 million times more effective?

All the previous process of collection, cleaning and sorting by color and type of plastic is a big task that takes time but is the most important one. Creating teams to clean areas around the world which are polluted with plastic waste would involve more of us who want to make of this a better place to live and enjoy. Receiving our raw material ready to use would be a big help for us and would be great not to be only cleaning the city we live in. We can create hipbags, tote bags, wallets, washbags, cases and more!
