Notpla

The Ooho packaging bags developed by Notpla are an incredibly impressive innovation. They have the potential to stop the flood of disposable cups and small plastic bottles. This has already been demonstrated by their partnership with sports drink manufacturer Lucozade for the London Marathon. The pouches are made from, among other things, seaweed extracts and can be dispensed as small beverage capsules. They are ecologically degraded within four to six weeks. The capsules are also edible. Notlpa, a company co-founded by former L'Oréal packaging developer Pierre Paslier, has now also developed packaging capsules for dry food. This has strengthened the company's self-imposed ambitions to revolutionise the packaging market for on-the-go food.
