The Cologne-based start-up Vytal is revolutionizing the take-away business by offering a sustainable and intelligent reusable system for restaurants, supermarkets and delivery services.

A subscription model (Packaging-as-a-Service) makes it easy for partners to replace disposable packaging with high-quality bowls, boxes and cups. And for us consumers it finally means: enjoyment without packaging waste!

All you have to do is register via the app. With the help of QR codes, dishes and users are then linked. The bowls can be returned to all participating restaurants for 14 days. If you return them on the same day, you don't have to do the dishes, after which the bowl should at least be rinsed out.

A tray made of the very high-quality and easily recyclable plastic polypropylene can be used at least 200 times. Already from the tenth filling, the ecological footprint is positive compared to disposables and can save about 30kg CO2 over the life cycle.

Vytal already exists in Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Munich and Salzburg. But many more cities will be conquered this year.
