Go Plastic-Free.org

Goplasticfree.org was developed by Erin and Matt, two Ph.D. scientists from South Carolina with a passion for sustainable living. Their lifestyle is still in the works, but they are striving to reduce consumption in general, reduce their waste and buy sustainable products whenever possible. Although this is only a small part of sustainable living, they believe that the elimination of disposable consumer plastics is an achievable waste reduction goal, especially with the market penetration of new products and technologies. However, moving away from traditional plastic products can be intimidating if you don't know where to start. They personally found it difficult to find a single place where affordable alternatives to the most stubborn plastic habits are listed.

That's why they created goplasticfree.org to educate others about the need to eliminate disposable plastics and to quickly and easily find cost effective alternatives to the disposable plastics most commonly used in American households. As scientists, they believe in evidence-based decision-making. All recommendations are based on good research.
